This was a wonderful year for us to serve our clients with all their needs, and make some great friends along the way. We love to have a client appreciation party every year to show how grateful we all are, and to get a chance to get together with all of you, at-least once more. You all have blessed us with the choice to let us work for you, and we thank you all. We love to give a door prize for a little fun each year, and we know those who won love what they got, and those who didn't are ready to try again next year. A special thanks to John, who brought his camera, and his photography skills with him. He was kind enough to share his pictures with us, and we are glad to show them off here.

~~Enjoyed a great time last evening at the Griesser-LaPierre Client Appreciation Party in the wine cellar of the Newtown Grill. It was their way of saying "Thank you". Sure hope I thanked Marie, Heather, Harry,Bernie & Kim for the hard work involved in buying my beautiful new home. They are the best! Besides the good food and drink, it was wonderful to meet so many nice people especially several young couples who are just starting out and have bought their first homes this past year. I asked a builder if he could say when the housing market would pick up, but he could not. He did say that his own company is doing well - not by growing and building more homes - but by accepting smaller jobs like updating kitchens. He said that certain small companies like those that require installing three or four garage doors in new homes every week are not doing well, but especially at risk are the larger companies with overhead. He knows two lumber companies that went bankrupt.
There was an open bar (I found out that pinot grigio and cosmopolitans go well together), tasty hors d'oeuvres including hot ones served by the waiter, a carving station for delicious beef and pork and two pastas. There were also door prizes: a blu-ray player, a Kindle and a romantic getaway weekend. It was really a great night!! ~~
